IT Organization and Leadership Team - Testimonial from Consultant
Phenomenal. In the morning I provided the overview of Creatrix. I started asking what the greatest innovation in everyone's lifetime was. More than half said the internet... some with disdain. But a few mentioned technologies like open heart surgery. One manager mentioned how it saved his father's life. Another mentioned the mammogram... and I assume that had a personal relevance. IT highlighted the paradox of innovation. We love the benefits but hate the change.
What was especially interesting was the afternoon session. I met with just the senior team. We took what we learned from the Creatrix and now looked at their individual leadership reports. In addition to the very strong risk-taking values (but only moderate creative), the group as a whole was extreme on the assertive scales along with a low need to be liked. They agreed the perception was the rest of the organization considered them "aloof, detached" and maybe even elitist... although I know that is not the intention of most of the team. The President took this to heart.
At it stood when I left, they realized that they need to look at creativity differently.

Engineering Group-Testimonial from Consultant in Europe
The group found the Creatrix to be an eye-opener, because they had a rather low profile and they consider themselves a really innovative group/company. IT is an innovative company, because they are innovating technology, but they are a technically driven company and having almost only technical profiles, they did not realize that their way of working and thinking is not really innovative. This came as no surprise to me (they are a pretty conservative group in ways of thinking and organizing work), but this profile really helps, since engineers are only convinced when they can see results in graphics!

Leadership Team in Fortune 500 Company-Testimonial from International Consulting Firm
Creatrix is used with Action Learning teams to provoke their authentic curiosity about risks taken or creative ideas considered. In this way innovation and learning march hand in hand.
I've used Creatrix for several years. It augments the leadership development work I facilitate inmy practice. Creativity and risk-taking have always been critical to effective leadership, they are of particular necessity during these tough economic times! Creatrix helps leaders pinpoint their propensity for creativity or risk-taking, and understand the underlying tenants that drive each. This helps them get their arms around how and when they can effectively leverage either to drive change. I've used it inboth small and large organizations, with individuals and groups. It is a highlyuseful and easy to use tool.

There are 6 million individual's stories of Creatrix... here are but a few:
After the use of Creatrix my best friend has changed his whole living situation: he sold his house to get rid of loans, he moved from the countryside to a big town, where he could find more opportunities. He says he feels 50% better about his life.
A business partner, who is responsible for the two biggest and extremely successful fairs and exhibitions in Germany has started and successfully established a copy of one fair in Asia. He said that he wouldn't have done it if he hadn't taken Creatrix and seen his fear of taking risks.
One of my staff members, who was unemployed, has moved from his well established home village with his family to another place, where his wife had a good job, his child visits a school for highly talented children and he has come aboard an international bank as a consultant (even in this hard times). He took the risks that he needed to take to make his life better.
A young woman who had been working in a police department came up to me after a Creatrix session and said that she now understood why she wasn't fitting in to the rules required within the organization; she decided that this was her opportunity to pay attention to the messages of Creatrix and find another job that had people that wanted to be more creative in how they approached ideas and the work they do.
A man called and asked if he could meet with me, after he had taken the Creatrix. He said that he was scarred, after having been laid off and that the Creatrix showed him why he had always hesitated to take that risk to start his own business---he was so frightened of it failing in other's eyes. Since he had been laid off, he really didn't have much to lose he decided-so, he went for it!
A small PR company's President was struggling with the fact that all of her Direct Reports were great at executing, but she had to come up with all the 'new ideas'. She was thinking about grooming someone to sell the company to-but to which one of her employees? None of them 'really' fit the bill. When her entire team took the Creatrix, she understood why and was then able to move on and bring in someone that could be as creative as she and take the risks that she was willing to take.
The President of a large Fortune 500 company was struggling with how to position the company differently. He saw the writing on the wall for the industry he was in-it was volatile and was declining. He decided that the company needed to move into new industries. All of his leadership believed that they were doing 'fine' and that no changes were necessary. He persevered and moved the direction of the company into 3 major new industries; when one is up, sometimes the other is down-but instead of single digit he began getting double digit returns on investment. He had insight into how he made decisions (willing to take risks) that the rest of his leadership didn't have and made the choice to move forward with the new direction-which paid off for everyone! Creatrix helped to provide that insight.
